Alan Thorpe

Alan has a deep love and fascination for Yorkshire's East coast and the North Yorks. Moors. They provide a rich source of inspiration. The vista before him however only gives him the basis for his work, enabling him to delve deeper into his mind and express his own relationship with the subject. His paintings are full of atmosphere and dramatic mood.

Alan's paintings are held in many private collections and a number of galleries throughout the UK and also in America and Australia. He is a member of the Yorkshire watercolour society.
