James Wheeler

Following a highly successful career as one of the U.K's leading carpet designers, Jim now devotes himself full-time to painting. He draws inspiration from visits to Venice and the Mediterranean Islands, as well as from his love of the Yorkshire Pennines.

Jim studied at the Glasgow School of Art whilst training as a carpet designer. He moved to Yorkshire to work at Firth Carpets Ltd., Brighouse, rising to become Design Studio manager for over 20 years.
