"Last Snow, Swaledale" by John Sibson
John Sibson took up watercolour painting in the late 1970's and quickly began to make a name with his distinctive paintings of the hills and dales of Yorkshire and the architecture of cities and market towns in the North of England, depicting traditional buildings within their landscape. In recent years he has also moved in to marine art and the portrayal of ships has become an important part of his work. This has resulted in him having his paintings accepted for inclusion in the annual exhibitions of the Royal Society of Marine Artists.
