Latest News - pre-Christmas Exhibition 2005
The gallery welcomes some new artists for the pre-Christmas Exhibition.
This exciting show covers a wide range of styles and media and includes:

Richard Keeton whose watercolours and etchings are inspired by the natural world around him, particularly the North Yorkshire coastline.

Mike Hendy brings texture and light to his still life pieces in watercolour and gouache.
|
 |
|
Val Freestone will be exhibiting some of her botanical work in acrylic and watercolour, her paintings range in style from meticulously obvserved detail to abstract representation.

 |
|
Sue McDonagh enjoys working from life, although specialising in more informal poses and settings.
Her own joyous appreciation of life is abundantly evident in her dynamic and lively use of colour and form both in her figurative work as well as her landscapes.

|
Christina Harris whose sheep have won many hearts already and whose use of paint to create a depth of fleece is extremely effective, whilst the simplicity emphasises the uncompromising moods of the British winter.

|
Denis Pannet who will be exhibiting his beautiful landscapes and seascapes in the North of England for the first time. Denis has regularly exhibited in various London galleries, the Royal Festival Hall, the USA and Hong Kong.

The exhibition runs from Saturday 12th November to Sunday 11 December 2005.
