Spring Exhibition 2011
We are delighted to welcome Peter Hicks for the first time to the gallery. Peter’s name in Yorkshire is almost synonymous with paintings of the North Yorkshire Moors. His sweeping landscapes of the moors in all seasons and weathers describe and explore the fall of light and cloud shadow over immense rolling distances. Other new exhibitors to Chantry House will be Sarah Garforth, John Pickering, Caroline Riley and Alison Vickery along with a range of wire sculptures by Chris Moss.
There will also be new work on show from a number of gallery regulars including Richard Keeton, Terry Logan, Lynda Logan, John Sibson, John Thornton, James Wheeler and Phil Wilson.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, 16th April and will run until Sunday 15th May.
