E stablished in 1980, the newly refurbished gallery has the reputation of being one of the most interesting and affordable Art Galleries in North Yorkshire. Owned by Ripley residents Richard & Chris Braddon, the gallery provides a show place for a wealth of northern artists as well as selected artists from further afield. There is an ever changing display of quality watercolour, pastel, oil, acrylic and mixed media paintings covering a wide variety of styles and subject matter from still life and interior scenes to Yorkshire, British and Mediterranean landscapes. As well as original paintings on display, the gallery maintains a wide range of prints and limited editions, a selection of animal bronzes by the renowned artist, Paul Jenkins, and a range of sculptures in cold cast bronze by Judy Cowper.
