All purchases accepted by Chantry House Gallery are subject to these terms and conditions of sale.

All descriptions and illustrations contained in this website are intended to give an accurate description of the products. However, specifications may vary slightly and all dimensions given are approximate. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of images on our website though the appearance of artwork may differ slightly from the original. However, if the goods do not, on receipt by you, substantially meet the description on this website you are entitled to reject the goods and return them to us. Due to the nature of our stock, availability of the artworks displayed on our website is not guaranteed. We reserve the right to withdraw an item for sale at any time and refund any purchase made from the site.

Purchases from the website will be dispatched by the most efficient way, using a reputable courier company. Delivery times will be as the delivery provider’s terms at the time, it is usually within two weeks of purchase, but 30 days should be allowed. Delivery dates will be confirmed by email, phone call, or text message. Delivery within the UK is free of charge. Delivery outside of the UK will be charged to the customer once a delivery charge has been confirmed, in this instance please enquire about the piece before purchasing.

If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you may return it with the receipt to Chantry House Gallery for a full refund within 7 days of your purchase in the gallery or within 7 days of your order’s arrival with you if purchased online. Please contact us by e-mail [email protected] or by phone 01423 771 011. Artwork must be returned in it’s original packaging and undamaged to Chantry House Gallery within 14 days of your return being accepted by the gallery. You must pay for shipping the work back to us and insurance of the work during transit to us. A refund will not be made until we have received the work in perfect condition. A courier service can be recommended by us and if you would like us to help organise collection then please contact us.

Chantry House Gallery is a disclosed agent selling on behalf of the artists who exhibit their artwork in the gallery or on the website. The customer purchases work directly from the artist with Chantry House Gallery acting as the intermediary providing a service to the artist. At no point does Chantry House Gallery own the artists work and any sales are the artist’s sales managed by Chantry House Gallery. All artwork remains the property of the artist until payment has been made. Risk in the goods passes on collection or on delivery of the goods to the customer/ address stated in your order.

If the artist is VAT registered and a VAT invoice is required, this will be provided by the artist upon request from the customer.

We do not have access to any payment card details. Any such payment information is securely handled by our payment processor, Stripe. For more information, please see their T&Cs – www.stripe.com/gb/privacy
