Hilary Burnett Cooper

Hilary is a Yorkshire Artist and has been painting and exhibiting her work from an early age and is now a professional artist. Having initially studied Graphic Design at Jacob Kramer Art College in Leeds.

Hilary started painting in watercolours in a representational and exacting style covering local scenes and exhibiting in many galleries throughout Yorkshire and the North-West. She has also tutored art courses in Snowdonia for three consecutive summers, taught in County Clare and at the local primary school on a voluntary basis.

Having taken a sabbatical for a number of years to raise her family Hilary is once again painting on a full-time basis.  Hilary now paints in a very different style – a looser more contemporary quality - and in all mediums, specialising primarily in acrylic landscapes. Her current love of all things Venetian has inspired a collection of works depicting scenes of Venice.
